Every good experiment starts small. On a 6 gallon still you learn how a still behaves: how it warms up, when vapor starts to climb, and where your cuts fall. It's a good first electric still for anyone who wants to learn on a batch that's easy to handle.
Electric heat, no open flame
This Advanced Model runs on 110V electric power instead of a burner. Without a flame to tend, the thing you control is power, so a good run is easy to repeat. Write down what you did, change one thing, and run it again. That's the scientist's half of the craft.
Complete, not a kit
This is the complete Advanced Model, not a box of parts. If you'd rather build your own with a torch, our EZ Kit Bare is that path. If you'd rather spend your time on the process itself, start here.
What people run on a still this size
- Distilled water
- Essential oils from herbs and botanicals
- Fuel alcohol, with the required permit
- Spirits, only with a federal TTB distilled spirits permit
