When your experiments outgrow the bench, this is the next step. The Massive Craft Distillation Unit is a complete copper still made in sizes from 40 to 200 gallons, priced from $2,699. It's a traditional Appalachian-style pot still built at serious scale.
How it's built
Each unit is handcrafted from heavy gauge, 99.9% pure, lead-free copper sheet sourced in the USA, then joined with lead-free solder. Every unit is water tested before it leaves, so you can trust the seams. Custom orders are available too.
The system, piece by piece
A still at this size is a chemistry set you can walk around. The pot has a temperature gauge so you can track your heat. The cap fits on top, and its seam interlocks with the seam on the back of the pot. Spin fittings connect the cap to the thumper, which has a drain plug. From there, vapor moves into the worm, which is attached to the coil, where it condenses back into liquid. You control the heat, you read the gauge, and you make the cuts.
Sizes
- 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 gallon
- 100, 150, and 200 gallon
Setup tip
If a spin fitting weeps when you connect it, the included instructions recommend thread locking tape.
Legal note
Owning a still is legal in the US. Large stills are used for water, essential oils, and permitted fuel alcohol. Distilling alcohol requires a federal TTB permit. Follow federal, state, and local law.
