The 10 gallon Advanced Model is where a hobby becomes a real workbench. More capacity gives you more room to experiment on each run. Copper is the metal distillers have trusted for generations.
Why copper matters
Copper is the alchemist's metal. It conducts heat well and reacts with sulfur compounds in the vapor, which is a big reason traditional stills are made from it. In a copper still, the metal is part of the chemistry, not just the container.
220V electric power
This still uses 220V electric heat. With no burner and no open flame, you control the run by controlling power, and you can log your settings to repeat what worked. Before you order, make sure you have a suitable 220V circuit where you plan to run it. If you're unsure, a licensed electrician can tell you.
Complete and ready for your process
This Advanced Model is sold complete, not as a kit. Your effort goes into the process: temperatures, timing, and cuts. Common legal uses include:
- Water distillation
- Essential oils
- Fuel alcohol, with a permit
- Spirits, only with a federal TTB permit
